Chatham University is pleased to announce the Dean’s List for the spring 2018 term.

Chatham University's Eden Hall Campus and K-12 Program received a 2018 Best of Green Schools Award from the Center for Green Schools at the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), in collaboration with the Green Schools National Network (GSNN).

Presenting live musical performances against nature’s backdrop in the Hilda M. Willis Amphitheater, a Father’s Day Brunch followed by a Kids Can children’s festival, and a series of food-focused workshops, the Summer Series offers an unforgettable opportunity to experience music, fun and learning surrounded by the beauty of nature.

Chatham University's Spring 2018 Commencement Ceremony will be held on Sunday, April 29, at 1:00 p.m. at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh. The ceremony will be held on the Third Floor in the Spirit of Pittsburgh Ballroom. 

For the sixth consecutive year, Chatham University was honored with 2017 Tree Campus USA® recognition by the Arbor Day Foundation for its commitment to effective urban forest management.

Chatham University has announced a new scholarship program for local and international students who wish to  study in Chatham's English Language Program (ELP) over the summer of 2018.

Chatham University's Graphic Design students excelled in this year’s highly competitive American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Pittsburgh annual design show, PGH365, with one student bringing home the Best in Show Award.

On Saturday, April 14th, at 2:00 p.m. in the James Laughlin Music Hall on Chatham University’s Shadyside campus, Music for Food will be performing.  Music for Food is a musician-led initiative for local hunger relief. 

Chatham Vegfest will be held from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28th at the AFC patio. Vegfest has been organized by several student organizations and will highlight the best vegan and vegetarian food in Pittsburgh. The event will also offer live music, shopping, and fun activities for attendees.

Vanessa German, American Academy of Arts and Letters Jacob Lawrence Award winner, will be writing, creating, and performing at Chatham University as the Women’s Institute’s Scholar in Residence. German will not only be informing and educating Chatham University students, but will also be participating in three events to be held on Chatham University’s Shadyside Campus. All events are free and open to the public.
