Mentorship Stories:

Quick Guide to Mentorship Resources:

Welcome Aboard:

Welcome Aboard is a nine-month formal mentorship program targeted towards our first-year and transfer students. It provides a support system outside of their friends and family as they transition to Chatham and college.

  • Typically runs August through April

  • Pairs out-of-state students with Pittsburgh locals to help them learn the city

  • Each month, mentors and mentee meet and focus on a certain area both personally and professionally

Chatham Connect:

Our virtual mentorship program that is open to all alumni and students, both undergraduate and graduate, to connect for casual conversations.

  • Students can search for a mentor or be algorithmically paired with mentor matches

  • No long-term commitment or timeline

RISE Retreat for Students of Color:

The RISE Retreat provides Chatham students of color with an opportunity for group mentorship, community-building, identity development, and creating a network of BIPOC students and staff at the university. Any student of color at Chatham is encouraged to register.
