Chatham University announced today that they have been named a Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Approved Education Partner (AEP) as a result of meeting HIMSS’s rigorous standards for quality health IT and healthcare education, with Chatham's Master of Science in Healthcare Informatics degree.
Chatham University's Center for Women's Entrepreneurship Launches Entrepreneurship Hub
Chatham University announced today the opening of a new 3,000 square foot Entrepreneurship Hub located at Chatham’s Eastside campus at 6585 Penn Avenue. The Hub is a partnership to serve women entrepreneurs run by The Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship at Chatham University and Chatham’s Women’s Business Center.

President Finegold's Statement on Immigration Executive Order
On Friday, the Trump administration signed an executive order on immigration that (among other things) suspended the entry of citizens from seven countries—Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen—to the United States for at least the next 90 days. Over the weekend, the effects of this order were immediately felt with individuals and families being prevented from boarding flights, denied entry at airports, and stranded abroad.
President Finegold Statement on Support for DACA Students
At the end of the fall semester, I received a letter signed by 76 members of our Chatham faculty & staff community, in support of an earlier student march, asking Chatham’s Board of Trustees to explore and consider designating Chatham a Sanctuary Campus. Since these requests were received, the President’s Cabinet has been researching and discussing this issue with the intention to present our findings for consideration by the Board of Trustees at its February Board meeting.
A Farewell Message from Dr. Esther Barazzone
It is with both great gratitude and optimism for the future that I write to say "farewell" as Sam and I put the final touches on packing and loading the van for departing from Gregg House this morning. I can hardly believe how the years have flown by, and how joyous and fulfilling my time as president of Chatham has been, despite occasionally difficult times and challenges.
