Chatham Hires Leonard Cullo, Jr., as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer

Chatham University has announced the hiring of Leonard β€œLen” Cullo, Jr., as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer (CFAO) effective Dec. 9, 2024. 

Cullo brings to Chatham a breadth of relevant financial, legal, and administrative experience from corporate and higher education settings.  

He comes from Texas A&M University, San Antonio, where he is the vice president for business affairs and chief financial officer. He was previously the VP of finance & administration for Clarion University and a senior advisor to the president for investments & athletics at Pennsylvania West University. 

Before Cullo started working in higher education in 2015, he worked for two decades at the H.J. Heinz Company (now Kraft Heinz), where he ascended to the positions of senior vice president and treasurer. He began his career as a tax accountant and also worked as a corporate attorney with Equibank. 

He holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University.
