Six Questions with Angela Forrester, Bachelor of Business Administration ‘22

Think you don’t have time to complete your bachelor’s degree? Think again! We caught up with Bachelor of Business Administration (Online) alumna Angela Forrester ’22 to find out what she’s doing now, and what made the program valuable to her.

What made you decide to pursue an online degree?

Angela Forrester ’22

My son had started full day kindergarten, so I decided it was time for me to finish college. I enrolled in an online program because of the convenience and flexibility. While working to run my business (now businesses) full-time, it would have been impossible for me to drive to campus every day. It gave me the ability to continue to fully meet my child's needs, and simultaneously study to fulfill my program requirements.

Why did you decide on Chatham's program?

I chose Chatham's program because of the course offerings. The required business courses allow you to learn and sharpen your skills in all areas of business.

How did your professors support you throughout the program?

The professors in the online business program are top notch. They are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to reach, if assistance is needed.

What are the most valuable aspects of the program?

I think the most valuable aspects of the program are the professors and the learning material. I really enjoyed the business simulations and completing my capstone project.

What is your current job/role?

I currently own and operate two businesses. One is a sole proprietorship, and the other is a domestic limited liability company.

How has Chatham's program prepared you for your next steps?

Chatham's program prepared me for my next steps by providing me with a thorough understanding of business operations that are applicable in a real-world setting. In addition, I have more confidence and feel well-prepared as I enter graduate school (also online) for my MBA.

Chatham’s Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration is a fully online program designed to provide a general foundation of business knowledge that can be applied to almost any industry.
