Mondays never cease to be a drag, amirite? But this Fall, Marvelous Mondays with the Office of Student Engagement are adding some fun and freshness to the oft-labeled, ‘worst day of the week.’ If you need a noontime craft, treat, or tarot pull to help you decompress and find some delight in a new week, we encourage you to stop by the Carriage House between 12:00 and 2:00 pm every Monday this fall. 🍁 Below, we’ve compiled a complete listing of the Fall 2021 Marvelous Monday offerings—

Pumpkin Decorating

Oh my gourd! 🎃 Join us on Monday, October 11 for an afternoon of pumpkin decorating! Whether you want to carve a traditional jack-o-lantern or personalize your pumpkin with paint, we will have all the supplies necessary to create some authentic fall decor.

And don’t worry about it costing a fortune—this event is free and open to all students! Trick or treat bags full of sweet and spooky candy will also be available.

This Monday, enjoy a Parkhurst brownie as you decorate pinecones. ✨ Let your creativity shine with this fall craft: you can paint, pom-pom, and glitter to your heart’s content. Twine will be available to make your creation into an ornament if you’d like!
Turkey Scavenger Hunt

Good gravy, you’re not going to want to miss this event! 🦃 Six turkey figurines have been hidden around campus in outdoor spaces. Find one and take it to the Carriage House between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to receive your prize: a $10 Amazon gift card. A student can’t win more than one gift card, so once you’ve found one turkey, leave any others to be found by someone else. May the "baste" scavengers win!
DIY Woodcut Ornaments
