Chatham University Awarded Gold for Student Voter Engagement

Ahead of the 2024 national election, Chatham University was awarded a Gold Campus designation for excellence in engaging student voters to participate in the midterm elections in 2022.

The award given by the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge (ALL IN) recognized Chatham for its 40-49% student voting rate in the midterms.

Chatham joined the program in 2020, and the University was recognized that year with a Gold Campus designation after over 70% of students voted in the presidential election.

The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge is a national nonpartisan initiative of Civic Nation, a 501(c)(3) organization. ALL IN strives to change civic culture and make voter participation a defining feature of campus life. Over 1,500 higher education institutions participated in the 2022 challenge.
