Chatham fosters high-levels of civic and community engagement in students
Chatham University is one of 1,200 colleges and universities to partner with National Study of Learning, Voting, and Engagement (NSLVE) to analyze student voting rates for the federal elections.
Based on the latest NSLVE Campus Report, nearly 90% of eligible Chatham students are registered to vote, with 86% of these registered students voting in the 2020 federal election. Plus, the voting rates of Chatham students have increased nearly 30% since the 2018 election. View the entire NSLVE report here.
Chatham is extremely proud of the number of students who choose to exercise their right to vote and is committed to supporting our mission of fostering civic & community engagement on campus and beyond. To assist our community, check out the Pennsylvania Center for Women & Politics (PCWP) website and links below for resources and more information on registering to vote for the upcoming election (the voter registration deadline in Pennsylvania is October 24).
