Chatham to host benefit concert on April 21 for Ukraine emergency relief

The devastating eruption of war in Ukraine is driving hundreds of thousands of families from their homes and into hunger. Survivors have lost everything and urgently need help.

In support of—and in solidarity with—the people of Ukraine, Chatham University will host a benefit concert on Thursday, April 21 with Chatham’s Artistic and Piano Program Director, Pauline Rovkah, and musicians from the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. The 7:00 p.m. event will be held at the Campbell Memorial Chapel on the Chatham University Shadyside campus and registration is requested.

Chatham’s Stand with Ukraine Concert will raise funds for Brother’s Brother Foundation (BBF) Ukraine relief efforts. Freewill donations will be accepted at the door and one hundred percent of all donations will be used to support relief efforts. If desired, credit card donations can be made online at their website, www.brothersbrother.org, or by check payable to Brother's Brother Foundation. Please note “Chatham University Benefit Concert: Ukraine Relief” in the memo field and send to Brother's Brother Foundation, P.O. Box 645934, Pittsburgh, PA 15264-5257.

Brother’s Brother Foundation is working tirelessly to raise funds and donations for humanitarian relief in Ukraine. BBF has donated much-needed supplies, medicine, and medical equipment to Ukrainian refugees and the Ukrainian Ministry of Health (MOH).  BBF’s Ukraine Relief fund is now over $1,000,000.
